Precision Cast & Machined Components for Instrumentation Systems

Instrumentation and measurement systems demand exceptional precision. Even the smallest deviation in geometry, surface finish, or material stability can affect calibration accuracy, system reliability, and long-term performance.

We manufacture precision structural, thin-walled, micro-hole, and complex shaped components for instrumentation and metrology applications where dimensional stability, repeatability, and ultra-tight tolerances are essential.

With proven export experience of approximately EUR 2.5 million annually in this sector, we support global instrumentation manufacturers requiring consistent, high-accuracy component supply.

Ultra-Precision Machining for Complex Instrument Components

Instrumentation components often require intricate geometries and extremely fine tolerances that standard machining cannot reliably achieve.

We specialise in:

  • Precision structural components for measurement systems

  • Thin-walled machining for lightweight, stable assemblies

  • Micro-hole machining for flow, sensing, and calibration applications

  • Special-shaped components with complex geometry control

  • Stable IT7-level dimensional and geometric tolerance control

This ensures components meet the stringent performance requirements of scientific, industrial, and precision measurement instruments.

Scalable Manufacturing with Material Flexibility

With a monthly casting capacity of 850MT, we support both specialised instrumentation production and scalable OEM supply programmes.

We supply over 1,000 material grades, including high-performance alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, Stellite, and stainless steels (e.g. 1.4301, 1.4401), enabling precise material matching for stability, corrosion resistance, and mechanical consistency.

Component capability includes:

  • Maximum size: Φ710 mm × 300 mm

  • Maximum single-axis size: 1200 mm

  • Unit weight: up to 260kg (steel), 16kg (aluminium), 48kg (copper alloys)

Full Process Control for Measurement Accuracy & Stability

Instrumentation performance depends on absolute material and dimensional consistency. We ensure this through comprehensive process control:

  • Heat treatment: carburising, nitriding, carbonitriding, vacuum processing with certification

  • Chemical composition analysis via multi-spark optical emission spectrometers

  • Mechanical testing including tensile strength, hardness, and ultra-low temperature impact testing (-196°C)

  • Microstructure analysis using metallographic microscopy and ferrite measurement

  • Corrosion testing including salt spray, cyclic corrosion, and intergranular resistance validation

  • Hydrostatic testing up to 10 MPa for sealing and structural integrity

Advanced Inspection for Precision Measurement Systems

To ensure reliability in instrumentation applications, we operate a full suite of advanced metrology and inspection systems:

  • Non-destructive testing (NDT): dye penetrant, magnetic particle inspection, X & gamma ray flaw detection

  • Dimensional verification: CMM, 3D scanning, vision measurement systems, ultrasonic thickness measurement

  • Precision surface and geometry analysis: profile measurement, roughness testing, and borescope inspection

  • Dynamic and calibration support: balancing systems and precision calibration instruments

  • Environmental and structural testing for long-term stability

Every component is fully traceable and delivered with documentation aligned to precision instrumentation standards.

Integrated Manufacturing & Supply Chain Control

Our operations are supported by integrated ERP, CRM, SCM, PLM, and APS systems, ensuring:

  • Full traceability across production and inspection stages

  • Stable scheduling for high-precision, low-tolerance manufacturing

  • Reduced procurement risk across complex instrumentation supply chains

  • Rapid engineering response for design and specification updates

This is backed by a dedicated 35-person customer management team, many with over 15 years of experience supporting global precision manufacturing programmes.
