Precision Cast & Machined Components for High-Speed Rail Systems

High-speed rail procurement demands absolute confidence in dimensional accuracy, material integrity, safety compliance, and long-term operational stability. Even minor deviations can impact vibration control, wear rates, and system reliability across high-load, high-speed environments.

We manufacture precision cast and machined components for railway applications where performance, repeatability, and certification compliance are critical. Our solutions support structural, mechanical, and transmission systems used in modern high-speed rail infrastructure.

Engineering Precision for Rail Safety & Performance

Rail components operate under continuous dynamic stress, requiring extremely tight tolerance control and consistent material behaviour across every production batch.

We achieve this through advanced machining and inspection capability:

  • 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining for complex geometries

  • Turn-mill compound machining for integrated precision components

  • IT7 dimensional accuracy for consistent interchangeability and fit

  • Zeiss CMM intelligent inspection systems for advanced metrology validation

This ensures every component meets stringent railway performance expectations for safety, stability, and long-term reliability.

Scalable Manufacturing for Critical Infrastructure Supply Chains

With a monthly casting capacity of 850MT, we support both OEM railway production programmes and long-term infrastructure projects requiring consistent supply continuity.

We supply over 1,000 material grades, including high-performance alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, Stellite, and stainless steels (e.g. 1.4301, 1.4401), enabling compatibility with demanding mechanical and environmental railway conditions.

Component capability includes:

  • Maximum size: Φ710 mm × 300 mm

  • Maximum single-axis size: 1200 mm

  • Unit weight: up to 260kg (steel), 16kg (aluminium), 48kg (copper alloys)

Full Compliance & Material Assurance for Railway Standards

Rail systems require rigorous certification, traceability, and validation at every stage of production. We deliver this through integrated quality systems:

  • Heat treatment: carburising, nitriding, carbonitriding, vacuum processing with certification

  • Chemical composition analysis via multi-spark optical emission spectrometers

  • Mechanical testing including tensile strength, hardness, and ultra-low temperature impact testing (-196°C)

  • Microstructure analysis using metallographic microscopy and ferrite measurement

  • Corrosion resistance testing including salt spray, cyclic corrosion, and intergranular corrosion resistance

  • Hydrostatic testing up to 10 MPa for pressure and sealing validation

Advanced Inspection Systems for Safety-Critical Components

To meet railway safety expectations, we operate a comprehensive inspection and validation ecosystem:

  • Non-destructive testing (NDT): dye penetrant, magnetic particle inspection, X & gamma ray flaw detection

  • Dimensional and geometric verification: CMM systems, 3D scanning, vision measurement technology

  • Surface and fit validation: profile measurement, ultrasonic thickness gauges, roughness testing tools

  • Dynamic and structural evaluation: balancing systems, vibration and alignment testing

  • Full metrology support including borescopes, infrared diagnostics, and precision calibration instruments

Every component is fully traceable and supplied with documentation suitable for regulated railway procurement systems.

Integrated Digital Manufacturing & Supply Chain Control

Our production environment is supported by integrated ERP, CRM, SCM, PLM, and APS systems, ensuring:

  • Full traceability from raw material to finished component

  • Controlled production scheduling for long-cycle infrastructure projects

  • Reduced procurement risk in multi-tier railway supply chains

  • Rapid response to engineering changes and specification updates

This is reinforced by a dedicated 35-person customer management team, many with over 15 years of experience supporting global industrial and transport programmes.
